Mesothen bisexualis, Dogn. Hét. Nouv. Am. Sud, v. p. 6 (1912).

m: Head black ; frons white; thorax yellow, the tips of tegule
and a patch on prothorax black; legs black except towards base;
abdomen yellow, the two eel segments black with dara
grey-blue bands. Fore wing hyaline, the veins and margins
black ; some yellow at base; the black on termen expanding
widely on apical area and slightly below vein 2. Hind wing
hy: aline, the veins and margins black; some yellow at base; the
black on termen expanding slightly towards apex.

f: Fore wing with yellow orale below costa to beyond middle,
the median nervure and base of vein 2 yellow, the inner margin
yellow from middle to near tornus.
